The Oyster Agribusiness Scholarship is designed to support outstanding Ghanaian students pursuing Agriculture and agriculture-related programmes at accredited public universities and agricultural colleges in Ghana, particularly students who demonstrate strong academic potential and genuine financial need. It is designed to reduce financial barriers, nurture leadership, and grow talent for Ghana’s agriculture landscape.
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:
1. Be a Ghanaian citizen.
2. Have completed Senior High School and obtained WASSCE results within the last two academic
years.
3. Have offered a Science, General Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or other agriculture-related
programme at the Senior High School level.
4. Have obtained a minimum academic performance of aggregate fifteen (15).
5. Have secured admission to an accredited public university or agricultural college in Ghana to
pursue a programme in Agriculture or an agriculture-related field.
6. Demonstrate a genuine financial need.
7. Demonstrate leadership potential, good character, and commitment to community development.
8. Be willing to participate in mentorship, internship, and development programmes organized under
the Scholarship Scheme.
